Social and physical distancing protocol is still in effect. However, we all need to get outside, clear our minds and get in some exercise. Your best bet is to head out and enjoy an open area. It’s the safest option. For those of you in the Jameston, Tennessee area or road-trippers passing through, add this stunning trail to your to list!
The Northrup Falls Trail in Tennessee is rated easy to moderate and is approximately 1.3 miles round trip – plenty of space for physical distancing. The hike will lead through an oak-hickory forest. Stay on the trail, because, it will lead you to a gorgeous 60-foot tall waterfall that plunges into a spectacular turquoise pool. Be sure to bring your bathing suit.
You can even take the trail around the back of the waterfall and hang out there as well. It makes for great pictures and is the perfect way to cool off.
