An Unconventional Kissimmee-area Spa experience
A beer spa is not the kind of wellness experience most travellers expect to find near Kissimmee. That is part of what makes it memorable.
My Beer Spa, located on International Drive in the Orlando area near Kissimmee, takes a familiar spa formula and gives it an unexpected twist. Instead of a traditional treatment room, guests step into a private spa suite designed around soaking, unwinding, and having the space entirely to themselves for the reservation period.
Despite the name, you do not have to love beer to enjoy the experience. In fact, the “beer” element is more about the novelty, the ingredients, and the playful atmosphere than it is about being a beer enthusiast.
The signature soak is not a bath filled with beer. My Beer Spa uses a proprietary blend of natural beer ingredients, including hops, barley, and brewer’s yeast, combined with vitamins and antioxidants. The soak is alcohol-free, warm, and designed to feel moisturizing rather than sticky or gimmicky.
An Unlikely Spa Experience

Part of the charm of My Beer Spa is that it does not take itself too seriously. From the “You Had Me at Beer” wall to the playful signage and beer-inspired décor, the space has personality from the moment you arrive.
The atmosphere feels polished but not precious. It is a spa, but one with a wink. That makes the experience feel approachable, especially for travellers who may enjoy wellness but do not necessarily gravitate toward traditional spa settings.
There is also something fun about discovering an experience that feels specific to the trip. A beer spa is not an everyday stop, and that novelty gives the visit a sense of occasion.
Inside the Private Spa Room

The experience is centred around privacy, which immediately changes the pace. Each spa room is designed for exclusive use during the reservation period, creating a space where guests can move between amenities without feeling rushed.
Inside the private room, there are two extra-deep, oversized jetted wood tubs, an infrared sauna, a private bathroom, and a hay lounge where guests can rest after soaking. Robes and towels are provided, making the experience feel complete and comfortable.
The tubs are the centrepiece. They are deep, warm, and spacious, designed for a proper soak rather than a quick dip. The beer-inspired ingredients are added to the water, creating a treatment that feels both playful and soothing.
The private infrared sauna adds another layer to the experience. My Beer Spa notes that its sauna includes chromotherapy lighting, which gives the room a calming, wellness-focused atmosphere. After the heat of the sauna and the warmth of the soak, the hay lounge offers a place to stretch out and cool down.
That hay bed may sound unusual, but it is one of the details that makes the experience memorable. It adds texture, scent, and a rustic note to the otherwise polished spa setting.
Set the Mood Your Way
Another thoughtful detail is the large TV screen inside the private spa space. Guests can access playlists and create the mood they want for the experience.
That could mean something calming, upbeat, romantic, or completely escapist. The point is that the room allows you to shape the experience around your own pace and mood. It feels less like following a strict spa protocol and more like being given the keys to a private relaxation room.
This is where the experience works especially well. It combines structure with freedom. The tubs, sauna, bathroom, and lounge are all there, but how you move through them is up to you.
Do You Have to Drink Beer?

No. You do not have to drink beer to enjoy My Beer Spa.
For adult guests of legal drinking age, local craft beer is available on tap in the private spa room as part of the experience. The self-serve tap adds to the novelty, but it is not the whole point of the visit.
For those who do not enjoy the taste of beer, wine and sangria are available as paid upgrades. Non-alcoholic options are also available.
That flexibility matters. The experience is called My Beer Spa, but the appeal is broader than beer. It is about the private room, the warm soak, the sauna, the humour of the concept, and the chance to do something a little unexpected while travelling.
More Than a Quirky Stop

There is also an interesting backstory. The concept was inspired by a European beer spa experience discovered by the founders, who later brought the idea to Orlando. My Beer Spa opened in 2021, adding an unconventional wellness option to the area’s already wide range of visitor experiences.
In a destination often associated with theme parks, attractions, and busy itineraries, this kind of pause feels especially welcome. It offers a different kind of travel memory: private, playful, and restorative.
The Takeaway

My Beer Spa offers a fun, private, and surprisingly relaxing way to unwind in the Kissimmee-Orlando area. It works because it combines novelty with comfort: beer-inspired soaking treatments, deep jetted tubs, infrared sauna time, a hay lounge, customizable music, and enough personality to make the experience feel different from a traditional spa visit.
You do not have to be a beer lover to appreciate it. You just have to be open to a spa experience that is a little unconventional, a little playful, and fully committed to helping you relax.
Good to Know

My Beer Spa is located at 11787 International Dr., Suite 106, Orlando, FL 32821, in the Orlando area near Kissimmee.
Reservations are recommended. Guests should check current hours, availability, age requirements, accessibility details, and beverage policies directly with My Beer Spa before visiting. Alcoholic beverages are only for guests of legal drinking age.
The spa recommends arriving early for your appointment, and robes and towels are provided. Rooms and tubs are cleaned and sanitized after each reservation.
After the soak, My Beer Spa suggests waiting at least two hours before bathing or showering. This allows the beer-inspired ingredients, including hops, barley, and brewer’s yeast, to remain on the skin a little longer. It is a small detail, but one that helps frame the experience as more than a novelty soak.
