Welcoming over 25 million visitors annually, Toronto is the leading tourism destination in Canada. There are new and historical hotels in the city ranging from budget, boutique and luxury. And, no matter where you decide to stay, you are within a quick jaunt to a tourist destination as there is a large concentration of sites downtown alone. To help you get started, here are a few options to consider in your price range starting from low to mid and high. In the low-mid range, we suggest booking a stay at Cambridge Suites Hotel which is conveniently located close to the Toronto Eaton Centre, Dundas Square, the entertainment district and Yonge Street (the longest street in North America). The large suites make this accommodation ideal for a group of friends travelling together or for families.

In the mid-range, book a stay at the Drake Hotel. This cool vintage-inspired hotel located in the trendy and hip Queen Street West neighbourhood is ideal for trendsetters and the eclectic who do not mind partying at the bar inside the hotel -it can get a bit noisy. Great shopping, restaurants and Trinity Bellwood Park are on offer. In the same neighborhood is the Gladstone: this Victorian centenarian is the city’s oldest continuously operating hotel; with only 37 rooms that have been decorated by local artists, each room is entirely unique unto itself.

In the high range, we recommend Four Seasons Hotel, this newly built hotel is located in the heart of Toronto’s posh Yorkville neighborhood which offers great shopping and restaurants. You could also check in to the Shangri-La Hotel, a luxury hotel located in the Financial District just a short jaunt away from the stunning Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Canadian Opera Company and the Theatre District. Goodnight!
